Re: "HARD"...

what about that guy from the inane thread a while back who has guns taped to the back of his fridge, underneath his dining room table, and in both bedside drawers?  Ready for some SAS assault or something.

Re: "HARD"...

It's just funny how Ivy style is quite a 'hard' look in the UK but in the states you don't often see it in that light.

Just had me usual 6/4 crop & I'm off to prune me sidies...

Re: "HARD"...

I did not get into a feud with anyone, except perhaps Alden, and not even that. But my post about Carmina's Miguel Font's not fixing my squeaky shoe offended him, and out I went. So far as Shooman's comments about me (eg no balls, a lamb, naive, a punching bag), I don't know what to say. Are these posts theater, your version of reality, typed by a robot, or do you think the fora ARE reality? I get confused. Plus I always think of that New Yorker catoon with the guy in a bathrobe typing on the Internet as if he were a hot woman. So far as I know, I was not in any dispute with "Pags." There was a Malinda incarnation that was nasty with me, but I am almost positive that was the "Mad Monk."

Re: "HARD"...

As far as I am concerned, you're one of the good guys of forumland, Doc, and I always enjoy your posts. I think some people's Internet personae probably differ considerably from reality. I think of the recent Brad Paisley hit "So Much Cooler On-line." I like to think my forum personality is fairly reflective of the real me.

Re: "HARD"...

Marc, this is where I get really confused. Several people have told me London Lounge is a big commercial enterprise for Alden, so he frowns on anything that might detract from his income. As support for this, those people have pointed out that the cloth sold in the Cloth Club is priced at a hefty mark-up. First of all, I bought cloth from the Cloth Club and I did not find it very expensive. Second, by my calculations the amount of money at stake would be quite small. This is not naivete on my part, but it might be lack of imagination.
