I see the haircuts have been cropping up on the WAYW thread.
Give 'em a thread of their own is what I say!
For the last 10 years, due to lack of hair (think Bob Hoskins) and greying temples, mine's been a DIY no. 3, in the last couple of years no. 2 crop. Every 4 - 6 weeks. Sideys just to where the earlobes start, these get a trim every week or so.
So, what's your barnet and why?

Right now my hair is cut like Anderson Coopers (woof) but I'm thinking of letting it grow out and getting it cut in the cavalry officer style (if that is the right name). My hair is very straight and black so I think this style would work. I could also slick it back on more formal dates.
As I said on the WAYW thread, 1/2" crop at the moment, sometimes 3/4" on top depending on my mood.
Cut once a month or so.
My hair is grey and fairly fine, so I have this style for ease.....straight out of the shower, towel dried and left.
I'm somewhere between an Edward Fox short-back-and-sides and a full blown COC. My hair's fairly wavy up top so it's a bit of jumble. Suits me fine.
short back and sides - parting on left - going greyer by the day.
although felt quietly pleased when I was last in the states- picking up some shirts in BB when one of the old timers remarked that my hair was styed as JFK wore his.
All grey here, so it's the "Doc Savage" flat-top for me. Guard 1.5 on the sides, and enough on the top to stand without gel. No sideburns.
Get it done about every 5 weeks or so -- any longer and I get "microphone head" ...

Any body cut their hair short enough for good teabagging?
Think the later Einstein, after rolling out of bed.
The Princeton has been my staple (as per the picture of my dad's '63 cut on the Ivy: Boom Years thread) since the end of my freshman year at college. Last year I added some sideburns.
When I was in high school I used to put the Brylcreem in it and have a part. Very neat, but a bit uptight, in retrospect.
Now I am considering growing it out a bit more both for the bit I comb across and out in back.
I've recently gone back to a DIY #3 (lower nape of the neck tapered via #2 to #1) for a bit of protection from the sun. It does look a bit more 'mature' (especially around the ever whitening temples!).
My aging Wahl clippers have been retired in favour of a fearsome beast of a Remington (SCC-100) which looks a bit like an electrified comb. Far easier to cut your own hair with this thing, I give the barnet a quick buzz every few days now to keep it looking sharp.
i once knew a chap who liked to forcibly give buzz haircuts to blokes whilst buggering them. those were the dayz...
Greatest Uncle- how the devil- off course the sodomised buzzcut was the greatest of traditions at the best borstals
teardrop tattoos adorn your cheeks dear uncle.

8-4-2, albeit on a bit lo0nger side on the top as my hair is of thin blonde scandinavian nature. i want to keep mine short, smart, no-nonsense. (as it is with everything i like really, smart, no-nonsense )
exactly. attention to detail, for sure but no mess and fuss about them.
