All righty then, ever feel like you're not catching everything out English brothers are talking about? I sure feel lost sometimes. i realize some of you guys know a whole lot more than me and that's fine - i'll catch up someday. In the mean time can we put together a list of words a non travelled American (yet) can get the meanings of?
I think of you David and Cheeky Monkey and your: pegging, cottaging, dogging and a few other words.
additional words and definitions greatly appreciated - thnaks

Do what? You having a tin bath? Oscar Wilde, that old nine bob, said that England and America were divided by a common language and nothing illustrates this better than the word
'fanny'
All down to how you use it I suppose.
A friend from Utah ("but I'm not a Mormon!') once stopped a party in the UK by walking in and introducing himself as 'Hi, I'm Randy!'...
I love baseball. I'm a can't bat for $hit but i'm pretty good at shagging flys - LOL
Are there other words American use that are not polite in England besides fanny and shag?
Are you a, septic too ?

I got a lot of British slang off of Ali G. Hadnt ever heard of "Batty crease" before.
I always liked "The dog's dangly bits" as in, do you like these cuff links?
"Like them?" "I think they're the dog's dangly bits!"
I quite liked that website too, I'll post a link around the office tomorrow and bore everyone to death with my new find...

Semen is called 'population paste' amongst other things by the Merchant Navy. Wonder what the Royal Navy calls it?
