To be honest, is doesn't really bother me which factory actually makes a product, as long as the quality, finish (and fit) are spot on. As someone who works in manufacturing this happens more than people believe, many prestigious brands are not made in the places people think they are made, this is for many reasons, manufacturing capacity or lack of it being the main one, as long as quality control is rigoursly applied I'm not concerned.
The color is beautiful. Not too light, but light enough to eventually show the aging of the leather over time.
