You better make up something quick
You gonna burn burn burn burn it to the wick
Ooooooh, barracuda?
I love fish.
^ cool, I think my Harrington is a 'barracuda' too. It's a damn good name for a rip-off Harrington, bought from a fishy market stall.
Me?
brown Clark's walking shoes (getting even more use now since - blast those red lights - I am without my driving license for four weeks)
olive socks with black clocks (in honour of Dr. Seuss)
brown cord jeans
navy v-neck
red, white and blue gingham BD
disreputable old wax jacket
copper and blue rayon foulard scarf
Had a very fogey moment yesterday as I observed a hare swimming across the corner of a pond to chase off a rival. They are excellent swimmers.
^wish i could see the rayon scarf, rayon is cool like silk but i don't feel like it needs to be treated special. Am i right on that?
The plainest of plain black oxfords, brown/blue/beige argyles, brown cord jeans, old black belt, white shirt w. blue and brown stripes, ancient madder tie (brown w. blue and red), navy v-neck, beige Harrington, black and white houndstooth wool scarf. Mild today, and also felt like wearing a tie, and a non-knitted one at that. And I always feel sleek and dangerous in my 'barracuda'.
I do like the ancient madder - this one is from Norton Ditto in Houston.

LE chinos (flat front, turn-ups);
brown belt;
white T, red gingham 3BD shirt, navy wool v-neck
in questionable taste, a gigantic gold/silver Casio dive watch;

Helly Hansen sailing jacket in 'oyster' and navy (well, what other colour would a sailing jacket be after all?);
navy/beige baseball cap advertising Sunseeker motor yachts, a freebie from an old job of mine.
About a dozen screeching seagulls flew past when I went out the front door this morning. True.

so it's just plain and simple
Sounding good as always mike. You get a lot of mileage out of that sweater vest, don't you?
Today it's black Chelseas, grey socks, aubergine coloured cord trousers (close fitting with darts), black polo shirt under navy wool v-neck, plain dark grey overcoat and black and white houndstooth checked scarf. Plain black GMT watch on black croc strap. Just work clothes, keeping it simple.
Moose - you always sound as if you are very well presented and turned out in a nice understated way-I have always admired what you have described as being not fussy - but some thought has gone into the combination.
nice work-I just wanted to pay a compliment when a compliment is due.
(I hope I didn`t sound too sycophantic- by the way-I couldn`t bare bannishment to AAAC- for being guilty of the same)
