... I don't want to pour salt on the wound, but I have a source for the new old stock ties too...
I don't often wear ties these days unless they're knits, but through the Gay connection there is old stock in London from places like the pre-modernised Libertys on Regent Street and the late 'Gallery' shop on the corner of Jermyn Street & that street that leads down to the square where that club is where you can get drinks if you pretend to be in the Army. Have you ever done that too?
The ties he wants may very well be floating around and as always with ties in England they will be cheaper than in the US.
I liked them at the time & have some, but they never really took off in England. The texture was wrong for the average tie punter.
Just sayin' that's all.
I got Bean, Press & Brooks cataogues back to '85 and I got chums with items going back to the 60's from the US. My Andover Cat. collection is more modest though and starts in the 90's. Did The Crimson Shop ever have a catalogue?
... I really can't think why I'm not King of the "Trads"... All I know is that I am not.
Tally Ho and Chim-Chim-Cheroo to you all!

My mate 'Walker' says he can get anything...
I'm tempted to get Harris' ties myself just to put away for him for the future...
I'm not made of stone.
