The linens, which are what I think make Riva unique, are woven on very old silk looms so the bolts are not as wide, hence, one always has to buy an extra meter. Where I purchase the fabric, In Italy, Riva retails for about €30-40 a meter which is about %30 more than any other shirt fabric on offer.

As I will be in Florence in a few weeks, with access to Bonfanti cloths, would anyone care to comment on the differences between the Riva and Bonfanti cloths? I have been very happy with the linen/cotton blends from Bonfanti
on my Bugelli shirts.
