I've been checking out brogues this afternoon as well as DB overcoats for Autumn and these really caught my eye.
I'll probably go with some American gunboats at the end of the day but these are some wonderful shoes, Shooey.
I love the soft deep glow you've got going on with that colour...
Just good photos or do they really have that depth of tone?
They'd be perfect with some good flannels. How do you wear 'em, Bro.?
Best -
J.

Did the cleaning process get any easier over time?
NO! A total nightmare to polish. So strange how l get dags on the them after l use creams. lt's like chewy on my shoos. ?????
l'm waiting on the burgundy Saphir cream to arrive. Hopefully the bees wax will make the polishing job easier.
Those brogues can still draw blood. Would be pretty easy to saw your finger off. They are very robust shoos (thick uppers, very thick welt, very solid)....should last a long time (would beat any C&J handgrades hands down).
See.....not all Santoni FAM's have long snouts. Many of the tan sock models are still made on traditional shaped lasts. Santoni gets a bad rap on the boards. There are many Santoni's that aren't even in the catelogues....none of the current line Harrolds Santoni's are in the brochures.

shooman, the dep burgundy colour on these shoes is just BEAUTIFUL.
i'm very much envious now (not of the polishing job though lol )
Mr.Shooman, I don`t know a great deal about gentlemans shoes, but your shoes look lovely and very well polished, you really should be very proud of them.
The photograph you use for your avatar? Is she your girlfriend? She looks very lovely too, far nicer looking than the young girl, the boys have been commenting on, on the call girl thread.
