Re: Can we have a tradometer thread?

Where does personal grooming feature in the Trad stakes?

I knew 'Ivy League' as a smart, sharp, youthful look, whatever the age of the wearer. Well groomed, well turned out, polished. The clothes actually used to fit.

Trad takes a different route I think. A bit More 'Fogey'?
The OPH indeed emphasised a lack of fit...

So on the Tradometer does an unkempt appearance rate highly?

Thanks -

Re: Can we have a tradometer thread?

^ I must just comment on something about Cheekys post.

Cheeky looks at his marvellous best when he wears a pink button down collar shirt, with jeans , brown suede loafers and an oaty coloured  tweed jacket with big red checks.

Although, I have also seen how the local girls look at him lustily in the Pub when he is wearing his big tan coloured brogues, jeans and a tattersall shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

I could never call Cheekys dress sense elegant, but as my girl friends have said " he dresses like a man"
