Ol Grayson and 'orace,
On the far other end of the spectrum, it deely pains me to admit that I like the look of an offering from this purveyor. Certainly not Loro P quality, but a different aesthetic. But for the darts, I find the shoulder, lapel, and colouring intriguing. A summer suit to use and throw in the rubbish when done.
Tell me wise men, have I succombed to fora nonsensory?

Cheerio.
I acquired some seersucker pants I'm fond of for summer wear, but since I believe I am one of the oldest participants in this forum, I am probably disqualified from commenting on whether something was "old mannish."
I have wanted to get a seersucker suit if I could find one that fit me well and wasn't overpriced, but I never have. My wife thought the verticality of the seersucker and its light coloration might exaggerate my height and overall size excessively. Though I don't always defer to her sartorial judgements by any means, I think she may have a point there.
I would never pay for custom tailoring for a fabric as inherently cheap and insubstantial as seersucker.
