Warmer today:
Sperry topsiders
pink socks (they're NOT gay LOL)
Old Penny khakis, cuffed
Old Brooks red/white university stripe oxford cloth, untucked
Barbour beaufort lining removed for today
It seems like i can only do simple, unlike some of the other sophis-toe-kated members here. well....maybe someday
Mike - You haven't mentioned your boxers today.
Are you running Wild & Free?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySvCe_lgbRM
"Running wild, lost control.
Running wild, mighty bold.
Feeling gay, reckless too,
carefree mind all the time, never blue.
Always going, don't know where,
always showing..I don't care!
Don't love nobody, it's not worthwhile.
All alone, running wild!"
Oh Mike!
^Brooks tie-backs and and athletic undershirt. i realized i was the only person mentioning this so i decided to be a regular guy and just like everybody else and not mention my boxers. i realized i was aiding and abetting a certain fetish held by some lurkers out there and so i take the high ground, morally superior position of not being an enabler. (can you tell i'm getting counciling? LOL)
Lately I have been wearing more uni strip OCBD, knit ties, cord jackets, penny loafers, etc. Am I regressing to schoolboy days gone by? Not that thats a bad thing...thinking of the lingerie thread, maybe I can get to stay after school with the teacher!
Oh, and boxers, BB tie backs for sure...
Another navy and beige day, I fear. I need new ideas...
black Daniel Hechter penny loafers (a bit 'eurotrashy', with low heels and thin leather soles) these are far too sleek and dainty for the rumpled rest, I need chunkier ones. Still, good as 'office slippers'.
brick-red piqué socks
LE khakis w. turnups
white T-shirt under new LE seersucker 3BD in off-white/black gingham (nice this, I haven't had a seersucker shirt in years)
the same bloody navy v-neck as every other day
C&A khaki cotton sports jacket (undarted/ventless)
Positively colorful today (Moose its easy)
Brown brogues highly polished
dark green/lime green/ yellow argyl socks
wheat colored cords
medium green wool crewneck sweater
pink oxford cloth shirt
colorful but maybe too preppy ? ?
Why think in terms of "Trad" or "Preppy"?
Both are made up.
"Ivy League" was a marketing scam too.
No?
Heck, I'm already planning my SAS-Preppy-Killer-Punk look for cool summer evenings:
Olive-brown wool trousers with maroon skull-and-crossbones (RL Rugby)
Black UK army surplus sweater (I've found a place in town that sells them for 10 EUR, and I'm gonna get one)
Shoes will probably be silver crocs
An outfit to piss everyone off, including my wife!
Who Dares Wins
Hugo Boss hb1 denim jeans - pink spread collar shirt (Jaeger)- light grey cashmere vneck ( Gobi) John partridge blue quilt jacket- black belt-red and gray striped socks- black suede gucci loafers.
Why? well I haven`t posted on this thread for some time so I got changed out of some scruffier clothes and put on what I regard as presentable casual- so as not to let the side down- we don`t want any of that untruth and fantasy stuff creeping in here -that occurs at Andrews site do we?

Living life.
A suit today for the first time in a long while:
Medium Grey worsted Sack from Press, mid-90's. Totally "Trad" (if that's your thing) in it's styling with 3/2 roll, 1.5" cuffed minimal-break flatfronts and nice soft shoulders.
Brooks Uni-Stripe OCBD ('Candy stripe' was always the name I knew in the 80's). Blue/White.
Wine Silk Knit from Press. The perfect width for me. Knots very well.
Plain Black belt. M&S.
Black Cayman IIs. Sebago.
Charcoal sox. M&S.
I don't wear pocket squares.
RTL watch on plain Navy (RAF) G10 strap.
Mushroom coloured London Fog raincoat over the top.
A big family lunch & party in a hotel nearby.
Bean LL slippers.
Sockless.
Bills M2s.
Landsend Hyde Park Oxford in Pink.
White Press T.
Solid Navy Surcingle belt.
Staying in today (raining!) doing chores & pottering around...

Black chelseas, black socks with white hoops, aubergine cord trousers, navy wool crewneck over navy polo shirt (white stripes on collar), dark grey overcoat, black cashmere scarf. Black brolly just in case on this cold and bright morning.
