Poirot

I love the Poirot series and watch it when I can Sundays on Australian TV although it seems to have vanished recently...

Some of the clothes seem dated a bit but all the same I am fascinated by the clothes and the furniture and houses.

I wonder who made his clothes in the series?

Re: Poirot

Poirot is a little too correct in his clothes. Even considering the period and the effect, he comes across as rigid, anal (which is actually odd for a gourmande) and over done. TYo be sure, i would rather see a man dress like this than wear a track suit but still...

A great series and a beautiful production that everyone should take a gander at.

Re: Poirot

I believe that's quite true to the novels--I'm something of a fan of the Poirot novels, and Poirot's friend, Hastings, invariably mentions how fastidious Poirot is. He always complains of his patent leather button boots are getting messed up.
