Interesting.

However in the last day, and you guys know what Im wearing these days, aggresively striped suits, Acorn shirts in bold stripes or checks, patterned ties, pocket squares, three women have complimented my outfits. Last night a woman with sparkly eyes sat next to me on the train and said, "I love your suit", I love the material and started fondling my arm. We ended up talking for the entire trip. Interestingly, the suit was a navy 13 oz lesser chalk stripe superfine which I always consider a bit old fashioned looking.

This morning a woman said she liked my pocket square and I thanked her. She didnt fondle me but then it was morning and another woman at starbucks who was getting me my coffee said she loved my suit. I told her that she obviously had excellent taste.

But a couple of weeks ago I was in the elevator and this English girl butted into a conversation I was having with a coworker about allergies asking if I were allergic to redheads? I turned around assuring her I loved redheads. Then she said  assertively "You're a very dappah dressah". My coworker (a woman) was both stunned and impressed  that a pretty stranger would chime in like that. She now calls me "dappah" with a mock English accent.


Basically good grooming and your own style carried off well is positive and you dont have to select things women pick for you. Although for picking up the girls you want, letting them select clothes for you isnt a bad idea, as long as they see them on you personally.
