Bespoke thoughts?

My dear and esteemed Sirs,

Perusing some of the other distinguished Gentleman's sartorial fora, there seems to be a profusion of mass-produced, ready-to-wear thoughts sullying the ambiance, with only a few manufacturers, many of them ennobled as moderators. Pray tell, why are there so few bespoke thoughts in those other places?

I remain Respectfully,

Your Most Obedient and Humble  Servant,

Theodore Ebeneezer Alphonsus St Bonar, Esquire.

Re: Bespoke thoughts?

Few possible reasons...

Changing fashion tastes that favor casual dress
Bespoke is out of the reach of most, either financially or geographically, or not a worthwhile investment to others
Most bespoke these days is not very good
Those who read London Lounge are overwhelmed by Michael Alden's inane and ridiculously complicated prescription for having a decent freaking suit made

Re: Bespoke thoughts?

My dear and honoured Sirs,

I deeply regret that I must have mis-stated the original missive, as one was referring to bespoke 'thoughts' rather than 'bespoke' thoughts. To wit, one's intention  was to provide rhetorical commentary on the broad conformity at those other places  in manner of ideas, with only a handful being manufacturers of said ideas. My sincerest apologies for this unintentional boggle.

I remain, Sirs,

Your Most Humble and  Obedient Servant,

Theodore Ebeneezer Alphonsus St Bonar, Esquire.
