Re: SF seems far more popular than AAAC. Why?

AAAC threads are terrible. Basically, they contain the opinion  of every uninformed member there. Alex Kabbaz' plan seems to be elimination of everyone that is smarter than him or who has a backbone, and it shows. I got sick of his false accusations and just stopped going there.

I looked at Andyland today, and there seems to be a real "young fogey" mentality has taken hold. On both forums. That won't help them stay modern and relevant (intellectually, not fashion-wise).

Re: SF seems far more popular than AAAC. Why?

I have developed a dislike for AAAC. With their anti-fora bashing rules and especially with that so called "Pagliaccio".

I remember the lampoon of their SE trunk show last year but the photos never surfaced this year. Is that from dismay over being laughed at? I actually heard that the show did not go well. Does anyone who attended post here?

Re: SF seems far more popular than AAAC. Why?

I continue to be curious about the difference in numbers of people using AAAC and SF.  While I have no idea whether the posted numbers mean anything, a few minutes ago SF showed 606 viewers and AAAC had 225.  SF strikes me as having a less readable layout but a very active sales component.  AAAC has a better layout but it seems like many of the regulars now do most of their posting on SF.

Here's hoping AAAC will become as interesting as it used to be. I learned a great deal from that forum a couple of years ago.

By the way FNB, keep up the essays.  They are great.

I think also significant in the decline of Andyland is the departure of Will from the moderation team. I really think Medwards is the premier sartorialist remaining there and who raises the tone. Without him, I suspect that forum would be tanking at much faster rate.

The Tards at AAAT are petty, uptight shits.  Bumpkins.  I'm so over it.

The older I get ,the smarter the chums at FNB and SF are. wink

On this thread's double over on SF, many of the members who defend AAAC to the hilt rarely post there, including a certain "famous" author.
