Re: Man's Best Friend?

There is some debate over this, but I think that now-a-days you can do more with the Navy than the Black version:

Burgundy & Bottle Green are for those with a Masters in Ivy. But you can always work up to them in your spare time...

Sta-Prest, Brothers, Sta-Prest!

smile

I'm enjoying the blog, Brother.

Absolutely straight question: I think you're beyond "Trad" now, ya gonna cling to it or turn the screw like the rest of us & make it better?

Whatever, I think your new stuff is now making it better anyway.

Best -

(Really)

Jim.

Re: Man's Best Friend?

I'm glad you like the blog and thanks for the link.  It's my first link ever.

I'm clinging to trad.  It's way funnier than Ivy.

Re: Man's Best Friend?

Thinking now, 'Cling' is a bad word, isn't it?

My bad. I'm clumsy that way. Numbers I do well. Words, not so much.

I honestly do think that there is a sense in which you are beyond "Trad" now though, a bit like the way in which Alden Pyle has moved on from his initial interest in all this too.

I get that you like the whole 'community' thing on the Net. though. And that's fine. Alden has that too I think... And Patrick seems to have that in spades, ditto guys like Harris & Intrepid.

I do understand that aspect of all this.

Keep on keeping on anyway. At all levels I love all this stuff. I both encourage & scold in the blink of an eye, I know. But it does help to push things on, no?

Avanti!

Jim

Re: Man's Best Friend?

*Pout*

I don't comment on Patrick's blog you know... I only do it on yours because it's better.

'Continuous Lean' I comment on too. 'Will' I would, but I sense that he doesn't need my input (Not that anybody else really does either).

Blog on, Brother -

Your fan,

Jim

... Idle thought: I should really chat to Pat. too...

I wonder how that would go down?

J.

(Edit: Popped a comment on the  'Loafer Hunt' thread on his blog. - I wonder if he'll publish it?)

We live in interesting times...

Re: Man's Best Friend?

Ah, thanks, I was just looking at the two in front, and thought they both looked pretty cool.
