Wonderful!
Darker flannels maybe?
Yes to the Blue & White University stripe.
A solid tie maybe? Nothing too fussy anyway.

Not to forum bash, but can I remind the world that 'Harris' is young and certainly not old. Twenty years more will make all the difference. (IMO)

Of course.
It was me who was making a sly point and pretending not to.
I'm quite relaxed about being named & shamed for these little quirks of mine.
I am working hard on my rehabilitation, however.
Sorry.

If I'm not mistaken, there are pictures of WF Buckley wearing a (though I don't know if it was double vented) darted 3-2 suit.  It certainly seems to have been an option.

I don't mind the double vents, but I just can't warm up to those darts.

I suppose all of this is representative of the diversity of styles at Press before B2 threw in the towel on the sack and Press went all/nearly all 3-2 sack in the 90s?

Yo H.,

Rocking this with the grey flannel, to the art opening, is fresh ill like dropping a Jackson Pollock.

Here's a few examples of the Andover suit from Cambridge, Mass. with what looks like a 2 button, darted coat and flat front trousers.  I'll post some of my own different style Andover suits when I can:

Not a bad deal if you're a 39R

The other shirt I was thinking of, the one I mentioned that was blue stripe on white, broadcloth, can be found here:

http://www.theandovershop.com/shirts.html

p. 21, shirt on bottom of pile.

Another idea:  remember when Brooks had that blue oxford with white stripe, that was larger and spaced farther apart than their uni. stripe shirt?  That one might work too.  Unfortch., they don't offer it anymore.  Nor does Press.  Maybe Mercer or CEGO has the fabric.
