Re: Is the end in sight?

When bizcaz first came out (I am dating myself) it was put about as dress as normal but instead of a suit you could wear odd pants and odd jacket/blazer. It still meant a jacket, dress pants, proper shirt & tie, good shoes. Sometimes a polo buttoned up was okay under the sports jacket.

It was for Fridays only and was still dressed for business.

Later versions seemed to be "anything goes".

Re: Is the end in sight?

Why are they complicating thing$? They should just prescribe suits for all.  Suits for everyone!!

Office basketball...that brings back memories.  Where I workd, in a private bank, some of the guys were heavily into office putting and darts (the game that is).

With the economy the way it's going, maybe people will take fine clothing more seriously.  One can hope.

Good article. The blurb box comment about shoe signalling wouldve made a fascinating essay on its own.

I hate business casual. And the article is right, it's an excuse to dress like a peeg.
