Yes, and no. I used to go back, and forth, but then Strummer died, so I decided to feel more strongly for him.

I did not see it. The last video I saw featuring Jones also had Kate Moss, Cocaine and Pete Doherty.
Jones does seem nicer in interviews, and his work after the Clash is fantastic. For years BAD was my favorite group, and their first album was the first CD I owned. On the other hand, Strummer's voice had an amazing presence, so still a tie for me.

Does anyone know if the Clash songs have ever been delineated in the way the Lennon/McCartney songs were? I'd love to know who wrote what parts of each Clash song. I could probably guess but not down to the line or word everytime.

Never saw designation of who wrote what. Strummer was always portrayed as the more political minded.
