I read some positive reports on Ercole in Brooklyn in an earlier post.
Do any members have experience with either of the two Philadelphia tailors above?
Bresch has used Centofanti for a while now, and recommends him highly
Yes, Mr. Bresch replied to an inquiry I made about these tailors on AAAC. I am awaiting a back issue of Robb Report which highlighted Centofanti and Giacomo Trabalza.
Thank you Mr. Grayson. I am a patient shopper, and one of the pleasures of this board has been the presence of posters who are generous with their knowledge, and actually do own the wardrobes they speak of, and do not have to pretend. I consider you to be in this category. Thus far, this forum has been wonderfully informative.
Robb Report is merely an effort of vanitas up for the highest bidder and some of the things really are in questionable taste, aesthetically and theoretically.
Does Ercole employ a pants maker on premises, or does he use a specialist?
Thanks for the magazine reference, and for continuing to add to my sartorial knowledge.
New York is a more than manageable weekend trip for me. I am three hours south of Washington, D.C.. Mr. Ercole will definitely be on a short list of craftsmen I will visit.
