WASP vrs Park Avenue

Please could someone explain the difference between the wealthy Wasp look and the wealthy Park Avenue look. Both looks seem to be included in magazines such as Town and Country .

Re: WASP vrs Park Avenue

I'd say that the current Park Ave. style grew out of the old WASP look, but I'm going to bow to any American who wants to discuss this. I'm too far away to button-down the fine details on this one.

Really great stylistic question though - Welcome!

This is sort of the Town & Country for Manhattan and offers a glimpse into both the WASP and Park Ave. worlds...
