No offense to fans of Rubinacci, however the suit pictured in this thread should never have been allowed to be taken home by the customer, as is. When people, who either know better or don't know any better nonetheless offer no reality check whatsoever, in a constructive manner, then it's the worst sort of groupthink that benefits nobody, particularly the customer as well as the tailor.

Gadzooks! I feel so clueless...so out of it! I've been frequenting SF for about four years, and especially so since my self-imposed exile from Cruiserland, and I have hitherto been unaware that the devotion to knit ties had evidently achieved cultic proportions. I guess I have just been spending too much time looking at the "White Women Appreciation" thread or something!
