I've seen them. Barneys sells them. Nothing to write home about.
Wilson and Dean/Wilkes Bashford also carry a few models, I believe they like them for winter shoes.
I've bought several pairs for my wife. The service at their boutique is really good. They're on the border of Germany. I think Alsace. She's been pleased with the quality. Boots and loafers and some sort of interesting retro, country high-heel that she liked. They made (make?) for Lobb Paris too.
Yeah, they did make some of the sportier JLP shoes. I will always at least mildly regret having passed on a pair of Heschungs in my size for $115 at the nearby Saks Off-5th. Had they been a darker color of suede, I doubtless would have bought them, but they were a sort of sand color, and I have long found light-colored suede shoes a real bee-yatch to keep looking sharp. My experience with Clark's Desert Boots back in prep school prejudiced me against all suedes for many a long year.
IMO Hershung have some interesting designs in their product line. They compete closely with Paraboot in France with similar designs. Very rare in the UK. I have heard that some of the production has moved from from France to Hungary, but I have not noticed any slip in quality when I was in the Paris shop last year.
