Idea and general aesthetic is fine but the suits are too short and too small. I have no problem with fitted but dont like tight or short. This is not practical for the professional American worker.

IMVHO if T(h)om had ben born in London 40s, he would have been a Modernist in the late 50s, listening to Blue Note and buying his threads at Ausins. Retrospecively, IL is in his DNA. Haven't read the text, but the image is worth a thousand words.
Can't wear his clothes, due to Sex, Drug and Sausage Roll, but God damn it, he is trying. The Sharper Image.

By the time it filters down, watered down, into my buying range of RTW, that cut will fit me fine and dandy.

TB knows what he is doing, exactly what he is exaggerating and what he is referencing.

He looks like a clown...but not The Clown.

Think like a man of action, and act like a man of thought.

I'm so happy to see the lack of consensus here - because that's always where the action is.

Re: T.B. (Not the Disease)...

i think it was the fact that trad cloths are well fitted that attracted me away from the baggy hoodie droopy jeans style i was used to.  people may not like trad or what it references but by comparrison the cloths fit well by comparrison.  TB seems to be onto something.  i cant afford his stuff so i dont have to say i wouldnt wear it (i wouldnt even if i could afford it)  the shift from pants dragging on the ground and tee shirts a long as ones knees i hope will soon be ending

Re: T.B. (Not the Disease)...

True.

And we need to bust the idea that Trad represents just ONE thing... or we need to sidline Trad into a retro Fedora Lounge niche. Only the Trads can decide on that one.
