I had a fitting with Nino on another suit and he brought up the pattern matching on the lapel/collar. He said he's been doing that recently to stay one step ahead of the industry in terms of "custom" signalers. he also matches the stripe on the back collar. He tries to match as many stripes on top of the shoulder as possible but the wider the stripe and the further away from the collar the harder this is to do without constricting the chest.
