London's Clubs -

Here I recall a painful expulsion:

However, being well soaked in the House White at the time I felt no pain.

I shall post about other clubs over time. None of which I belong to, but which I have visited and behaved very badly in.

Just the downstairs Lavys in the Groucho are well worth a thread on their own.

^ Last time I was there Marco Pierre-White held the door open for my diminutive daughter. I thanked him. He smiled. Once at Thames Television I had a minor hand in his series budget. I like to think that he was paying me back.

Dunno if she still is. The place goes in waves of fashion. The blur guys picked up on the place when they were on the up.
In the dining room behind the bar there's a snowscene on the wall which I maintain is entirely made out of Charlie.
