Anyone ever use this fabric book from Holland and Sherry? What color can I do this suit in? I wanted something in the beige family.

Never used it. But I like the "sand" and "cinnamon" colors, though those names are 'orrible.
The navy looks dark green to me, is that my eyes? Maybe just too much Bar review.

I dont see any problem with the navy cotton suit, except that it probably hides sweat and other stains a bit more. Tan is not that smart a choice for the working man in our dirtiest cities. Thus, it depends on why you are choosing the suit. If it is for a lawn party, you might want tan but for work a medium colored olive or navy may be better.
This Holland and Sherry Sea island cotton book is very expensive. i am going to take a look at the book but I am thinking better to get seersucker or linen. I wonder if this material would even survive dry cleaning?
Wool/linen blends may be a better pick than cotton- the pic'd cloths all look like various shades of green on my monitor.
Scabal cotton with cashmere is not bad, I have a orange/peach suit of it. Not as garish as it sounds.
Harrisons make a Mohair/Linen blend it's called Mesolair if I remember correctly. It would be a cheaper option than the H&S cotton bunch I would imagine.
Grooooooooovy suit...baby........yeahhhhh!!!!!!!!!
The lapels on mine are nicer! I believe in this scene Austin Powers is telling his adversary: "I don't speak frickin' Dutch."
^I think it's Dr Evil who says "I don't speak freaky-deaky Dutch" cold be wrong though...
Formby, you are correct, Sir. I believe the photo shows the scene where Austin is first confronted by the freaky Dutchman
Jokes aside, I have a tan light-weight wool suit that, IMO, serves better than the cotton variety. Unless one is looking for the casual, relaxed/almost faded summer look, then cotton offers a better choice. Wool fabric, though, gives the suit that least bit more if used during the work week. Without fail, I always get compliments when wearing my tan suit - not what I ever expected. I think the color is right for the season, but the fabric gives it a polish most people don't see with the typical poplin.
