Re: Groupthink at SF?

I tend to wear my Hermes ties more with sport coats, even when wearing a sport coat with jeans, and I don't think I look like a BSD (big swinging dick), not even a leisurely-dressed BSD.  Actually, I enjoy my Hermes ties more than any other tie I have, including Charvet and Marinella.  The ties with animals, etc. provide an added amount of good cheer to dressing.  As I posted earlier, Hermes scarves are worn by many of the most sophisticated and stylish women in the world (Their fragrances are awesome, too), so perhaps detractors of Hermes neckties have more of an issue with men who wear them than with the ties, themselves.  Jeez, it's only a tie.

Re: Groupthink at SF?

Generally speaking, I don't like Hermes prints; however, I love Arnys prints. Other than scale of pattern and vibrancy of color, is there any other explanation for this?

A good example for groupthink: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=68258

Btw the comment in #35 about the trees is pure inanity.
