... There ain't no cure for the Summertime Wang...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm2Mdma2dXw
whn is looking very good over there on the WangFest thread this morning. Very Trad.
1) Marmer - Purist Trad
2) whn - Almost as good as Marmer
3) Alden - The middle-ground candidate between Trad and Trad-Not. Maybe too much Ivy League spoiling his look?
Brownshoe is obviously trolling that thread posting outfits which have nothing to do with Trad. Shame on him!

A lot of stiff competion there.
Agreed.
This could be one of the stiffest Wangs we've seen on the Net. yet.
Bravo!
I agree Tucks - Brownshoe is miles away from Marmer. No wonder he has to leave the forum. Some people just know about Trad & some people don't.
whs has the look down too, don't you think? Who's best though, whn or Marmer?
- Only Patrick can decide who to hand his Wang to next.
...
I note a combination of madras shirt and bow tie. Not even a plain bow tie either !
Not a good combination - trad or not. Points for getting the stuff cheap though. The madras shirts on their own are wonderful.
I was almost tempted to get a 'guaranteed to bleed' from O'Connells myself. I think they are gone now.
Marmer, hands down.
A man who can wear a seersucker DB suit without looking like a gigantic twat need fear no competition.
IMHO.
I wonder if any other members will be entering at the weekend?
Suits help a man with Marmer's build too.
He could maybe lose the tie with the jacket and trouser combinations. The plaid one is not great anyway. Why wns wants to add 'neckwear', as they call it, to a madras shirt is beyond me.
Chums,
Raise a leg to salute Bulldog.
Interesting ol adverts, eh? Allen Solly was a British brand. J Press having a sale on jewelry, pipes, picnic baskets, ect.
Cheerio.

In fairness, 'Summer Trad' is a tough call. For me, it cries out for that little extra bit of jauntiness you just don't get with the 'uniform' of Aldens, khakis, OCBD, tie and sack jacket. To hit that spot without treading into 'preppy' territory is difficult.
My money is still on our man Marmer.
When does the Wang King competition close, btw?
