Many of those are lovely.  The prices even more so.  Good on ya for taking care of that watchmaker.

These are indeed, very Tradly watches and very nice auction catalogue quality photos. There is nothing like a good vintage watch-or car.

I recall you also had a Longines gold repeater pocketwatch?

Re: Vintage watches - my own heap

Thanks - we have a pro photographer at work, so I pester her into photographing them as I wear them. The Longines Flagship I had to do myself, as you can see by the quality.

Have still got the Longines repeater pocketwatch- haven't got round to having it restored yet, and it's still got the crap chain. Also bought a thirties Alpina, very art deco, with an elongated rectangular steel case, that's being restored now. Will post photos when it's done.

Great story about reclaiming your family heirloom.

I have a lot of trouble finding watches that look right on my wrist too which is nearly 9 inches around.

What caliber is your Omega Speedmaster?

It is beautiful. I have a 1956 Omega that my father gave me that looks similar. Although my watch has no model name as the case was most likely made in America. (510 Caliber)
