Re: WHY are you wearing...?

black full-length umbrella
tobacco poplin jacket, two button, side vents, half lined in baby blue (top half of suit)

pale pink spread collar shirt, no tie (I quite like the look of a spread collar under a v-neck), navy silk barrel knots
old black leather belt with brass buckle
lightweight khakis
ultramarine cotton piqué socks

(trying to look vaguely refined this Friday...)

Re: WHY are you wearing...?

Time to dress up before the three-day weekend.

SB Navy suit in a nailhead or tic-weave or something like that with a vibrant blue pinstripe running right next to a white one.

Blue/white houndstooth check shirt with a red overcheck on a fairly enormous scale.  Cuffs held down by the usual tiki man links.

Some regimental tie that has wide red and blue stripes edged with thin yellow ones.  Lothian and Border Horse or something like that.

Very light grey odd vest.

Brown double monks.

It's sort of a proto-City look with a nod to Milan in the shoe color.

hangover by Chartreuse Verte
off-white/black gingham seersucker shirt by Lands' End
brown leather belt
'Hospital Green' Lands' End chinos
black/deep red/off-white Burlington argyle socks
brown nubuck Hawkshead driving mocs

going for a bit more colour than my usual, but at the moment it's still a bit too bright
