I have read the above post many times, as it is cited on the AAAT as a source of inspiration for many. I do have one issue, however. I think he is being a bit too hard on the traditional merchants of the Ivy style, such as Brooks and Press. Isnt part of the look, the accessability of the everyman suit? If we are so picky to insist on MTM to cover our needs, it does take away some of the puritan aspect of the look. Just my opinion. Its great to hear others talk about the changes in historical items.

I'm all vintage-y & looking again at MTM these days. I'm hard on Press & Brooks too.

But I wasn't when Ken wrote this.

Things move on.
