I see he recommends Huntsman.
Good writer but he worries a little too much about casual clothing. Casual clothing, worn nicely can look good too. If that man's jeans were custom, his sneakers prada and his shirt tucked in with a stylish belt, what's the problem?
Ah, the one and only A.A Gill. He and his table guest, who I think it was Joan Collins, famously got frog marched out of Gordon Ramsey's restaurant after he wrote a bad review of Ramsey's cuisine (Didn't like Ramsey's version of the fried Mars bar perhaps ). He's known too also have a ill concealed contempt for we English. A Scotsman hating the English? surely not.....!!!!!!!!

This comment I thought especially insightful...
'..."For a generation now," he writes, the English "have gone from making history to curating it," looking backward not forward, dwelling in the past rather than "the salted present."...'
Sad, but unfortunately true and as an Englishman and very proud of my country's achievements it pains me too admit it.

Gill's one of my favorite columnists for the Times. Great stuff that goes way back.
I've read it -- s'funny. Helps if you aren't much impressed by the English to begin with ...
