Can someone please post a few pics of any Chesterfield coats? I am looking to have one made for the winter, but am unsure on whether to get a SB or DB, with or w/o a fly front etc.
Thanks
Thanks - I will check it out. Is Raphael's new place up and running yet?
Here's a Chesterfield:

The Chesterfield is a very classic coat. It seems most are single breasted and a fly front is up to personal preference.
I like the Chesterfield. It's one of those more formalish coats that you can get away with still.
I used to think the black collar was a bit much, but sort of like it now.
Does a Chesterfield, to properly be a Chesterfiled, require a fine spun grey (or midnight blue) herringbone cloth or can the cloth be a solid weave? Whats the traditional way? I assume a more fine cloth?
I would imagine the most traditional cloth for the Chesterfield would be the covert cloth straight from England. Herringbone would be the 2nd choice.
