Shoelaces for dress shoes

What sort of shoelaces do you lot prefer? I like the look of the broader cloth ones but cannot stand their lack of elasticity or how messy they get with polishing.  The thinner ones make a crisper , springier, tidier knot even if they are not as aesthetically pleasing.

Round ones not flat ones. I also used to like the strong leather laces you got with the old Royals from the Squire Shop.

Dependent upon the shoe, for me -- thin round ones for more formal shoes, and a variety of "chunkier" styles for less formal shoes.
