We all know the name.
Any info?
I'm thinking of the slim, blunt-ended, knit ties of the 50s & 60's. Cool that you tie 'round your neck!

I'd be very interested too. Still in pruduction or discontinued?

I think they've gone off to Mod-heaven now.
Vintage MUST be available somewhere.

Last time I was in Bergdorfs, the Garrick Anderson shop had a wide array of Rooster-type neckties on display.
Dear Miles,
I've bought them from Press. Try giving Press in Cambridge a call. The last one I bought was a dark blue with greyish-white lines, spaced far apart. Will take pic. I'm sure they still have them.
Thank you, and Be of Good Cheer,
Horace
Sorry Miles, AHAT's first and hopefully only mistake. They're Rooster-style. But I think pretty close. I'll put up that pic. when I can and you can judge for yourself.
I think Press do the best knits at the moment. Any other contenders?
New & Lingwood have some good ones too... I've yet to investigate them.
How popular are knit ties in the U.S. in general? They're a bit niche in the U.K. & viewed as a casual item, not a 'proper' tie.
I love them. They were one of my first Ivy purchases way-back-when... I imagined they made me look like Horace Silver!
