The Mant provides a good review of CEGO and Mercer.

My quibbles with Mercer are the fabric (compared to the Brooks stuff both RTW and Heritage MTM).
I don't have the problem with too short tails on Brooks, but I do on the standard Mercer. Going longer on the Mercer, I'd like to try but I'd still like to go 7 buttons (the old old Brooks had 6 buttons and was very long, so the buttons were more spaced out).
As for the baggy back -- I actually like that "look". I've in mind a very thin RFK working the phones in his office in a baggy Brooks shirt. Looks good. Pic to come.
A bump for ol' Harris. Who wants unlined collars and cuffs on his shirts. I also prefer getting the tail longer like yesteryear.
I think my next go around might be a golf collar in white with blue pencil stripe body, like the "Troy" shirt that Mr. Man designed for Press this past season. That and a couple more of the Heritage cloth shirts. Maybe even a OCBD with the old 3 button.

The Trad is Strong in this 1.
Check it out. A green (albeit rather faded it seems) Brooks oxford. And an old white Brooks oxford BD pull-over with side gussets. Very nice.
Fantastic!
But not" Trad". Did you guess I'd say that?
Nothing 'entry level' about misterman.
For those of you who asked earlier on this thread about the source for BB RTW oxford cloth, I received this message today stating it's from Japan.
Horace, do you know if all the Heritage oxford cloth is from the same source? If so, where?
Thank you for contacting Brooks Brothers customer service.
In response to your inquiry regarding our merchandise, please be advised that our oxford fabric is
imported from Japan.
Please contact us if you need further assistance.
