I had a held back Cary Grant thread which all of this can very happily replace - so much better than anything I could have offered.
The only semi-interesting point I had to offer was that not only did Mr. Grant have a thick neck he also had a big head and so to get the proportions right he always had a bit more shoulder in his suits than you might think.
He looks perfect.
A 'real' natural shoulder on Cary would have been all wrong, but with slight padding and a little broadening of the shoulder line he looks... well... what can you say? ... he looks very good. This is what good tailoring is all about.

I also like CG in Charade with Audrey Hepburn. Of course in that film, I believe he was wearing a simple Botany 500.
