My Playlist whilst at work

Last month or so, been listening primarily to "soul-jazz" while at work

especially:

Jimmy McGriff
The Mar Keys
Jackie Mittoo

some Jack McDuff and Jimmy Smith thrown in the mix as well

Does anyone else find that they fine tune the way they dress according to the specific music they are listening to, so that one reflects the other?

Re: My Playlist whilst at work

To answer GS's question, what I listen to doesn't influence what I wear much, it's generally too all-over-the-place.

I am in a band, though, and when we're playing a lot, as we are now, I tend to dress as simply and functionally as possible.  We don't perform, just write and record, and comfort and ease of movement are key.

Still, you want to look decent.  I can't feel confident about what I'm doing if I feel poorly turned out.  I stick to a plain blue shirt/tan cord jeans/Chuck Taylors uniform.
