I apologise for this rather dull, functional post but I am in need of the help of the global Ivy community. I bought the last pair of those magnificent Walkover suede boots with the red buck soles from J.Simons about 6 years ago. They were 1 and a half sizes too big for me (U.S 11.5!) but with a bit of an inner sole they're wearable. They have given me an occasional bad back but they are beautiful things and just conjure up for me the feel of the Flamingo in 1963 - all US import, cool, rare and sharp. I digress. The issue now is that the heels are wearing very low and need repairing. Once upon a time JS used to repair these shoes but no longer. I have had problems finding a cobbler who can replace the classic brick red soles. Can anybody recommend a London based shoe repairer who 'does bucks'? All advice/help appreciated.

This place usually gets good reviews.
Bishop of Briggs also recommended Mayfair Cobblers when we were a happy little band over on AAAC:-

I have not had occasion to use either yet.

^ Very good tips, Sir.
If John Rushton can't get it done then he'll know a man who can.
