Most British men of a certain age will have  heard about Brighton in `64 and the clashes between the two groups - but which group ultimately proved to be the hardest- the mods or the rockers?

Apparently many people in Britain don't even know what Mods were and are.  Merc is absolute garbage and Ben Sherman hasn't been much since the late 60s.  Original Sherman 3BDs are nice if you can dig them up.
