This is almost my suit:

Mine is softer & 'fuzzier' looking.

I've a Covert Cloth number lined up for tomorrow...

Arthur - You're looking very lovely these days. All young & fresh. What's your secret?

Best -

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks, Jim.  It's my standard regimen of light regular exercise, soft drugs, bad girls, crushing guilt, fresh fruits and vegetables, no sleep, lots of water, frayed nerves, and doing as little work as possible.

I can't say I recommend it, necessarily, but it's keeping my weight down and my psychiatrist occupied.

Otter : Take it easy, I'm pre-law.
Boon : I thought you were pre-med.
Otter : What's the difference?

A Heavy Tweed Day (Is Covert Cloth a Tweed? No, I think it's a Twill...) -

Anglo Ivy Tweed suit, weighs a ton. Buff Covert, not the Greenish kind.
Brooks Tattersall BD - Red/Black on White.
Brown wool flat-bottomed knit tie from Rowlands in Bath.
Wine Tassel Weejuns and mid-Grey sox. Plain Cordo Steerhide belt.

Russ in the Buff? Too much for my fine sensibilities!

It's 'Country Undertaker Neo-Trad' style for me today (I'm still trying to think up a snappy abbreviation for that one).

LaCrosse neoprene rain-boots (I suspect this is the bad weather equivalent of wearing Crocs...)
baby-blue piqué socks
H&M raw denim 'Sliq Fit' (I read this means something rather rude in Swedish BTW) jeans with old black belt
navy Guernsey sweater over blue Brooks slim-fit OCBD (these are the only shirts I've found both close enough and with a high enough collar to wear under a Guernsey)
black raincoat

Re: Ivy League style for today

Casual day.  Orange cavalry twills, blue OCBD and my favorite navy sweater from a company called Blue Drake.  The damned thing has only been in service for 16 years and the elbow patches are developing holes.  What has happened to quality these days?
