Brother H.,
please don't respond with good cheer.
Truely,

The real metaphysical question is whether Trad is Trad?
'Trad' is 3 years old & counting, I think.
My Brand New Trad is even younger.
What we need is a Trad which starts afresh every morning.

I think Horace's ads just show classic American clothes. Classic yesterday & classic today. They're a source of inspiration.
Coolidge mentioned 'Breakfast at Sir Winston Churchills Flem spoon.'s' again not to long ago. Classic American clothes from way-back-when, but a look that was energetic & forward looking.
It's an odd paradox that current 'Trad' is backward-looking and that vintage 'Trad' is young and full of life.
So... back to the future!
Dig back into the past Trads, discover the time when what you wore was full of hope & optimism.
No more melancholy. It's a dead end.
Miles.
