Help?
What were Malcolm's 10 rules from the film please?
I remember 'Do not play, do not give the game away'.
But what were the rest?
We just need to check that we've ticked all the boxes in The Great Trad 'n' Prep Swindle!
Lesson 1 : How To Manufacture Your Group.
Lesson 2 : Establish The Name.
Lesson 3 : Sell The Swindle.
And we even have a song for our old mate 'Arry:

"The Great Trad 'n' Prep Swindle (2004) is a fictional "documentary" (a "mockumentary") film directed by Gomez and produced by Russell Street about the American Internet phenomenon 'AAAT'. It starred Big Jim as "The Crook", Russell Street as "The Gimmick", Harris as "The Tea-Maker", and Gomez himself as "The Embezzler". Shirt makers and encyclopedia salesmen also made appearances.
Notably, a bloke called Andy (who was listed in the credits as "The Collaborator") only appeared in archival footage and as an animated character due to his refusal to have anything to do with the film. Original team member Paddy also appears only in archival footage and briefly in an animated segment.
The movie tells a stylised account of the formation and rise of Trad, from the point of view of manager Gomez. In the film, Gomez claims to create Trad and to manipulate it all over the Internet, using the Trads themselves as puppets to both further his own agenda (in his own words - "Fun!"), and to see just how gullible some people can be".

It's so funny, I just made this connection, too, when I had read chetmiles' talk about his "hardcore punk" clique in the Wller/ Hewitt thread...
I thought "punk" in the UK and "trad" on AAAT... great marketing coup... great rock'n'roll swindle... and now this thread comes up...
