Re: Poorly Dressed Men & The Women That Tolerate Them

The problem maybe some women's insecurity. Confident women like their men too be well attired and look good in my experience. Confidence as we all know has nothing to do with looks, many beautiful women have been told from a young age that they are beautiful, so they aren't respected for anything else except their beauty. But, deep down these women know that their beauty is ephemeral, then what...??

Re: Poorly Dressed Men & The Women That Tolerate Them

I think many women feel threatened by dignity, intellect and elegance in a man. Most of them are pretty empty-headed philistines when you cut through the superficial veneer of charm they are so good at throwing up.

I think also many contemporary women are conditioned to believe that the "normal," manly man--the regular guy--is innately a slob. Any man who turns himself out elegantly, nay, even halfway decently, immediately falls under suspicion of being the dreaded homosexual in their petty little minds!

I know the feeling when I see one of these "ape-man and angel" duos. Then I console myself by thinking that water tends to seek its own level!
