I have several pairs. I dont think I have any photos besides the spectator wingtip pictured in my edward green essay but I have a pair of black E. Greens which are beautifully worn and cracked.

I like wingtips very much. Possibly my all-time favorite shoe. Its funny how they can be subversive (try wearing them out with the boys at 15 years of age) and ultra-formal. I have about a dozen pair, but interestingly, none in black. I have never been tempted by black wingtips, but I think this must be a mental issue as they have their time and place.
I am really starting to get into chelseas though, and plan on hunting down the C&J version in the next week. I am also very slowly thawing to the idea of wearing monks, which I have never liked.

l'm sick of chelsea's. Living in Oz, i've had R.M.Williams saturation. So l don't really treat my Chelsea's all that well actually, even the good ones are neglected. l haven't polished one chelsea in 20 years.
l treat the wingtips like kings, yet l treat the chelsea's like hardcore slaves (all my chelsea's are brutalized on the toes...all have visited the bush or have been to the wood shed).
One boot l would never wear are those ugly ones with the strap that goes around the back....can't think of the name for it right now. l would even wear tassle loafer shoos before wearin' that ugly boot.

Right now my only wingtips are my cognac pebble grain Budapesters from Kielman, great casual shoe, they look similar to those Nettletons but in a more Eastern European last.
My upcoming wingtips aren't meant to be casual, they will be full brogue oxfords in the darkest oxblood, town last and with a narrow waist.... It was about time I ordered a pair, I think every man should have a pair of full brogues for business wear.
