Thanks for posting this.... the price for custom ties is higher (almost 50%) than an equivalent construction tie from, say, Cappelli in Naples or Hober. But Drake's have really great silks and I'd definitely get some in the future, in 7 cm width!

New & Lingwood offered some excellent self-tipped ties earlier in the year. They looked to be similar in quality to Drake's. I have not seen them recently.
Charles Tyrwhitt seem to have dropped their "made in England" seven-folds that were cleared at £29 in the spring. The repp patterns were not to my taste but they were good value.
T&A and Drake's (including those at Emma Willis) are my first stops for ties. Budd has some lovely madders but I am not sure who makes them.
