Very classic and elegant design, assuming it's quality cloth.  You can never go wrong with houndstooth.

Re: London Lounge cloth.

I will second Mr Grayson.

Mr Alden posted a comment that Edwin De Boise of Steed has a length of the orginal Alden Gun Club cloth - last comment on http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6306&start=30. If he still has it, you will probably need to order a sports coat from Edwin in the cloth as he will not sell it. I believe that Edwin made Whittaker's here - http://thelondonlounge.net/gl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6796. It is certainly his style.

Bookster has a very nice gun club from Johnston's of Elgin -

I have also seen an excellent pattern in a Holland and Sherry book.

Re: London Lounge cloth.

Wait, London lounge boy was the one who claimed that of the thousands of cloths available there was nothing worth wearing? But, this apparent rip off of a previous cloth is new and different yet classic? The cloth is alright, if dull but I don't know if there is a reason to get it based on its supposed limited availability. That sounds like mere puffery to me.

He does seem to get a lot of trusting, impulse purchasers who then have second thoughts. I base that on the amount of purchased but still unmade triple window pane check fabric that seems to change hands on the forums.
