Re: Ivy League style for today

patrick i like that. heavy tweeds rule.

as for me, edited my yesterdays post on page 28, added pics as couldnt make it yesterday. this time in the 'cops' tv show mugshot style.

today, bad hair day continues.. nothing special except for the fact that i decided to try jim's idea to combine some summery stuff with wintery gear, aka. now wearing a gant madras-esque 3bd with a heavy shetland crewneck. works, i think. not sure if i can make it on the pic front though.

I really dig the knitwear under the jacket Patrick. Who's it made by? I like the detail around the V neck. Also, is it a tank top?

Brr, really cold today, indeed Russell Street! It's raining here, too. I'll post a weather-appropriate fit later today.

Re: Ivy League style for today

This morning/ afternoon:

Slim tapered Uniqlo Vintage chinos (greenish khaki)
Navy Columbiaknit cotton cobblecloth textured sweatshirt/sweater
Default charcoal ribbed wool socks
Beaten up rust-ish coloured Minnetonka Moccasin Mens (Unisex) Tramper boots
(*I sliced off the extraneous detail of the hanging fringing panels of these boots, by tucking a thin plastic chopping board underneath the panels at the top of the boot and slicing them clean away using a Stanley knife.
*Tip supplied courtesy of Jim-Thank you very much Jim!).

Last night;

Black columbiaknit cobblecloth sweat
Same slim tapered Uniqlo chinos
Charcoal colour ribbed wool socks again
Slightly dusty black coloured canuba waxed bass weejun penny loafers.

N.B. If i could have changed anything of the above i might have worn a J.Press light blue University stripe under the black sweat yesterday night and a white BB ocbd under the navy sweat today.
