Wow, they look incredible. They look better than some of the black grain corrected `Grafton' i've seen locally.

I have always been fascinated by deadstock like this.  Its like finding a time capsule or something like that.

My father owns a cottage on a lake upstate, and there's a small store in a town that doesn't even have a streetlight (in fact, there's about 20 or so buildings, mostly houses, and nothing else) that sells all the usual stuff you'd see at a small town convenience store.  However, they also sell small housewares, and then to the back of the store, they have several aisles stacked with clothing that cannot be newer than late 1960s or early 1970s.  Its all brand new in its original packaging, and runs the gamut from shirts to trousers.  They also had a pretty large selection of workboots and those awful looking nylon and leather sneakers from the 1970s.  I always wondered how he justified keeping inventory like that that obviously did not sell.  I was there last year, but forgot to check on the clothing section.  Wonder if there's some hidden beauties back there!
